I extend to you my warmest welcome. This is my ePortfolio, a component of the Sweetland Minor in Writing at the University of Michigan. Here you will find the compositions I created as a student in the introductory course, which I took in the fall 2012 semester. I look forward to expanding it with additional pieces, those assigned for various courses and those arising organically in response to all that I see.

You may navigate this site by following the tabs contained in the top menu. Select a tab in order to see an explanation of the assignment in addition to my insight into crafting the pieces. Doing so will grant you access to the drafts and final documents.

I thank you for being here, and I invite you to graze, gaze, stare. Remember, as Flannery O’Connor stated, “The writer should never be ashamed of staring. There is nothing that does not require his attention.”
